A tight, nice copy of this Horatio Alger style tale, entirely in German (title translation: "Poor and Rich or Two Ways of Life: A Narrative"). Undated, but circa 1900. Apparently some publisher's misprint caused them to have to tip a corrected title page on top of the original title page. Quite decent copy of this delicate production, with chromolithographic plates bright and charming.
