Tight, quite nice first Dutch edition -- that's right, The Netherlands -- for although Mouton & Co. in The Hague, Netherlands is cited on the copyright page and the binding and jacket, a sticker stating "Humanities Press / New York" and logo has been placed over this data on the title page and a Humanities Press review slip is affixed to the front flyleaf. A bibliographical oddity. Could one argue this is the first Dutch AND the first American edition?!
