This World War Two ace served with the U.S. Air Force's noted 61st Squadron of the 56th Fighter Group in England alongside such notables as "Hub" Zemke and "Gabby" Gabreski; in 63 combat missions he downed seven enemy aircraft. Color PS, 6" X 19½", n.p., n.y. Very good. Minor tape stain marks along bit of upper edge; single vertical fold. Heavy stock glossy reproduction of an artist's profile rendering of Klibbe's famous fighter, the HV-V "Little Chief." Klibbe signs large and bold in black fineline at lower right, below the plane's tail.
