A tight and most handsome later printing of this trilogy, part of this publisher’s (and later James R. Osgood & Company's) “British Poets” series, so stamped at head of spine. From the library of Wisconsin civic leader JAMES M. LYNCH, chief clerk at the Adjutant General's Office during the Civil War, appointed quartermaster general in 1865; his pencilled signature and date (June 1, 1872) appears on an inner flyleaf of the first volume.
