Nobody's Son, or The Strange Fortunes of a Smart Boy.

New York: Frank Tousey, Publisher, 1912. Paperback. February 21st, 1912 edition (No. 716) of "Pluck and Luck: Stories of Adventure." 4to. Pictorial color wrappers. 28pp, (3pp ads). Very good. Bit age toned about edges; inner text pages mildly and evenly age toned as usual, free of the edge tears and chips that plague most dime novels. Item #37301

Handsome, tight issue of this adventure weekly. Corny chromolithograph front wrapper graphic depicts hero George Porter, having knocked a bad guy to the floor, trying to escape from a room with Chinese sayings on the walls as a Chinaman tries to stop him. A far better than average dime novel (actually, "Price 5 Cents") or "penny dreadful," with text printed in two columns.

Price: $35.00
