First edition, tight and handsome, of this semi-fictional account of a guide dog's life, supposedly written by dog Brandy "Assisted by My Mistress" Roemer. Inscribed and signed large and bold by the author (who suffered from detached retina and "could still see a bit of light") in black ballpoint on the title page: "Best to Elisa and / Bill from / Brandy and / Mildred."
