This Military Intelligence Hall of Fame inductee was an Army general who served throughout the Spanish-American War, Philippine Insurrection and World War One before being chosen by Pershing to oversee the American Expeditionary Force's intelligence operations -- making him America's first G2; he helped organize the Corps of Intelligence Police, the army's first counterintelligence organization. Name/address of Nolan's command from 1927 to 1931, Headquarters Fifth Corps Area, purple inkstamped at top edge, along with typed date. Autograph material of this military intelligence pioneer is uncommon.
