Various paginations. Illustrations, advertisements. Very good overall. Bit of quite mild edgewear and slight soiling to some outer wrappers, but mainly tight, clean and attractive. A near complete set of this short-lived publication that featured articles, mini-bibliographies (Melville, Thoreau, Twain, James, Longfellow, Emerson, Lowell, Hergesheimer, Holmes, John F. Kennedy, etc.), ads, etc. Numbers 8 and 9 ran together in a single issue, so these 12 issues actually cover 13 numbers. Number 11 also includes some related ephemeral pieces: Subscription renewal, back order issue form, etc. Uncommon to find in longer runs. Item #29135
