This noted Roman Catholic educator with the Society of Mary served as Provincial in Cincinnati for 18 years, president of the University of Dayton, then in 1948 established the Province of the Pacific and served as Superior. Bold full "Walter C. Tredtin, S.M." in black in on a 4½" X 1¼" slip (tipped to stiff black card), n.p., n.y. [ca. 1930]. Very good. Six small show-through glue stains, none touching signature. Unusual. Item #25933
