Famed pitcher who debuted with the Cincinnati Reds in 1942, playing also for the New York Yankees and Kansas City Athletics before retiring in 1955. Bold "Best Wishes / Ewell Blackwell," irregular 2¼" X 1¼" blue slip, n.p., n.y. [ca. 1960]. Very good. Tape stain along top and bottom edge, touching couple letters of inscription and last few letters of last name. Rather attractive despite flaw. Item #21562
