First edition of this fine directory of historical sites, tight and attractive -- -- and bearing a lovely autograph addition as well: Tipped to the inner flyleaf is a Typed Letter Signed from Cromie, 1p, 7¼" X 10½", Grayslake, IL, n.y. Addressed to "Margaret and Ralph" (likely Ralph G. Newman, 1912-2000, founder of Chicago's noted Abraham Lincoln Book Shop). Near fine. On personal letterhead, Cromie chats amiably about cryptic personal matters, her "wobbly ankles," her various writing assignments, etc. Signed "Amore / Alice" in green fineline.
