The noted minister of Chicago's Memorial Church of Christ was also a long-time professor of semitic languages and literatures at the University of Chicago and authored many religious studies such as "Our Bible," "Hymns of the United Church," "The Bible Through the Centuries" and "The Jew Through the Centuries." Bold full signature (and, below this, "University of Chicago") in blue fountain pen on a pale green 5" X 4" slip, n.p., n.y. [ca. 1932]. Near fine. Neatly affixed at upper right is a small magazine portrait of Willett. This was signed at a Chautauqua meeting at which Willett spoke. Item #18458
