Full signature and "U.S.S." with date (1970 March 9) boldly penned in black ink on a special heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p. [Washington, DC]. Very good. Single discreet staple hole at upper left. With original envelope. Accompanied by a fine original glossy 9" X 7" news agency photograph dated 12 March1956 showing Ervin with three Southern senator bigshots, printed caption along bottom reading "Southern senators discuss the manifesto urging resistance to the Supreme Court decision on segregation which was read to the Senate today....". Near fine.
