Recto features a three-quarters head-and-shoulders portrait of Rodrigo de Bastidas with caption cited above. Verso features an artifact of indigenous origin, with "Fundacion de Santa Martas" above and "1525 - 1975" below. Housed in original red velvet bed encased in red folding case. A handsome example of this non-circulating coin.
